IRCC provides resources to all FIU students and Faculty such as, Microsoft HoloLens and HTC Vive Pro for Instruction & Research.
IRCC has developed Virtual Reality content for two different STEM fields:
- MRI Brain Scans
- The data and MRI scans obtained from FIU’s Center for Imaging Science are processed so that they can be visualized in 3D using Virtual Reality to support educational, research and outreach endeavors.
- Chemistry
- Molecule data can be processed and loaded in Virtual Reality so that the 3D molecule can provide a unique perspective for educational and research purposes
