Creating An Image
If you would like to create an image with VCL you can login at vcl.fiu.edu and start an Imaging Reservation.
Once you login to VCL you can click “Reservations” on the left then click on “New Reservation” and select the “Imaging Reservation” radio button.
From the dropdown menu select the image you would like to use to modify then click “Create Imaging Reservation”. This will start a session and provide you with login details.
Once you connect you can install the necessary modifications inside the OS. When you have finished making your modifications you will need to go back to the Reservations page and click the “More Options” drop down and select “End Reservation & Create Image”
It will ask you for some details such as the name of the image and then work on creating a new image with the name you provided. This process will take some time.
