FIU, through the IRCC, has joined the Sunshine State Education and Research Computing Alliance (SSERCA). SSERCA is an alliance of Florida Universities with a goal of creating and enhancing a state wide computational computing infrastructure that can be shared among member institutions.
It also has the goals of promoting and educating people on the use of these technologies, to showcase research being conducted in the State of Florida, as well as to increase member institutions’ chances of getting large scale grants through joint proposals.
The Division of IT looks forward to a good and productive relationship with SSERCA.
